That would be “See you soon, Italy” because… seriously… the Chair will be back!
The final week of Italian adventures continued in spectacular Venice. Clearly, the Chair hated it.
But once the Chair settled in with some familiar friends, all was well.
But despite the spectacular plates, the Chair was longing for home. It’s a good thing home never seems so far away…
But rest assured, the homesickness quickly wore off as the views made it hard to remember the rolling hills of Hollywood.
Did we mention that the Chair may never return?
Who are we kidding? He couldn’t stay away. Check out his favorite purchase during his travels…
Oh he’ll be home in no time.. but not without one last dish!
So until next week, when the Chair returns and retreats to a quiet place to binge on The Voice and Mad Men …. Arrivederci!
Bellisimo!!
You have NO idea!!!
Many European cities beckon, some for many return trips. In my travels, in my life, the only city that captured my heart, full on was, Venice. I am so happy that you found her. So difficult to describe as most words are too simplistic or, inadequate to convey the wonder of this tiny, water bound, state of mind and body. Even every sound is “dampened” by the sights and sounds of the water and movement of it and, on it. The joy on your face said it all. Thank you for reminding me. I am happy/sad and longing.
Venezia is the most glorious place I have ever been in my life. Will fill you in.
