Countdown to Barbenheimer

The day is almost upon us: “Barbenheimer” — a celebration of the release of the much anticipated and excessively marketed Barbie, directed by our beloved Greta Gerwig, and the much anticipated perhaps not as heavily marketed biopic Oppenheimer, the first R-rated outing by Christopher Nolan in 20 years.

So it’s no wonder The Chair is feeling uninspired for pop culture talk this week — it’s like buying yourself a present two weeks before Christmas! Better to leave that work to Santa and/or Margot Robbie. Right?

OK yeah him too!

So while we patiently await the arrival of these two entities into our pop culture universe, please respect the Chair as he watches reruns of Property Brothers: Celebrity IOU, and/or yet another Barbecue Brawl Food Network entry (there are just SO many to choose from). The pop culture nuclear war is coming, better to be prepared.
