Maybe you’re feeling like the Chair — tired, listless, uninspired, and maybe just simply pooped.
If that’s the case, in lieu of a post this week (see above), we recommend you dive head first into the magnificent third season of Max’s Hacks. Jean Smart returns as Deborah Vance, and it’s really time to start talking about her collecting an Allison Janney/Julia Louis Dreyfus boatload of Emmys.
That’s to say nothing of the incredible season for Hannah Einbinder as Ava — ever more the audience’s surrogate in the wild world of Ms. Vance. Come for the J. Smith Cameron and Christina Hendricks guest performances (they don’t miss), but stay for the gayest, most fun cast to watch (Meg Stalter, we love you).
